Somatic Healing for High Achievers Who Are Disconnected

Trauma recovery for the exhaustion, numbness, and disconnection that often come with achievement.

For high achievers ready to address what is happening on a deeper level.

Somatic work includes your body. This goes deeper than talk therapy, coaching and pop psychology.

A few ways the body speaks about unresolved pain and trauma:

“It feels like a glass castle on my shoulders that does not go away with a long weekend or vacation.”

“I feel like I have an axe in my back that is with me wherever I go.”

“My jaw will not fully unclench. Sometimes I have intense jaw pain and headaches.”

If you have tried to manage unresolved pain and being reactivate or shut-down beyond your capacity to understand and are ready to do something about it, you are in the right place.

It is likely you need support, unique internal attention and connection and actionable tools to take with you along the way.

I can help you with this.

The Work

Your body guides the process. The sessions invite you to a new relationship with your body where listening and receiving become an ongoing practice.

The main approach I invite you to is Compassionate Inquiry, developed by Dr. Gabor Maté. It is body-based and relational. It works with your wholeness as a human, not just what your mind explains. Sessions are spacious and led by what is present for you.

This is not coaching. It is not therapy. It is in its own category. The solutions and wisdom you are seeking are within you. This work reveals that for you.

Ways We Work Together

Session Features:

Your Intention First

Every session begins with what truly matters to you right now.

The Body Leads

We follow sensation, breath, and what your system is sharing in the present moment.

All Parts Welcome

The performer, the exhausted one, the part that cannot stop. All parts are welcomed.

Integrate Daily

You leave with reflections and small practices grounded in what arose in the session.

  • “Working with Leigh during major life changes has given me the most rewarding set of therapeutic experiences I’ve ever had.”

  • “Having had numerous therapists over the years, these sessions felt like a revelation… if I were to describe them in 1–3 words, I would say: It is golden.”

  • “As a mental health professional, I found my experience with Leigh refreshing, empowering, and a different type of support than I am trained in.”

I have spent over a decade doing this work with people who needed something more than mental insight or strategy to actually change.

I am not a therapist or a coach. That is a conscious choice. What I offer is in its own category and the people who find their way here tend to feel that difference as familiar.

I work with high achievers, attorneys, doctors, CEOs, investment bankers, and artists, who are already asking the deeper questions. Who have done enough of their own work to know that something is still unaddressed. Who sense that the gap between how things look and how things feel is not something they can think their way out of.

Welcome. I am glad you are here.
