Update: Name Change

Please note I will be lovingly detaching from using the word OMAYARI for my business and services. It was brought to my attention that my use of the word is cultural appropriation. After considering this, I realize it is.

This change was brought about from a conversation I had with a colleague who brought this to my attention. I am grateful to this person and the conversation we had because it has helped me to see something I was not seeing before. It also is an experience that invites me to step further into clean relations with others and with the world. It is a sincere intention of mine as a person and as a healing practitioner to have clean relations with people and the world as much as possible.

Though this change is not happening because of a direct report or confrontation of insult or injury, I do want to step forward and state that I apologize for any harm my choice to use OMAYARI as my business name may have caused to anyone.

Person-centered healing is a Rogerian approach to all the readings and sessions I offer. This is inspired by Carl Rogers who practiced client-centered therapy, as a therapist, which is a humanistic approach to healing. This style of healing highlights genuineness, unconditional positive regard and empathy.

This approach is very important to me as a healing practitioner both in regard to business model and especially when honoring the wisdom within each human being as the way to healthy transformation in consciousness, heart-connection and embodiment.

Person-centered healing is the style in which I offer the techniques and modalities I am trained in (Akashic Record Readings, Akashic Intuitive Guidance and Transpersonal Energy Healing).

Thank you to everyone connected to me in all the ways you are. I am grateful that life provides continuous opportunities for me to learn, change, see my mistakes, be open, be honest and share.
