body stories

You can’t engage in somatic work unless you really want to. It’s at times uncomfortable. It’s at times profoundly liberating.

The work is not for everyone yet for those called to it, it’s often what they’ve been needing that talk therapy, pop psychology and lighter self-care practices have bypassed.

Finding a safe enough other to work with is part of the work.

We heal in presence with a safe enough other.

The next time you feel tension in your body in a surprising way that doesn’t fully match the circumstance, get curious about what story is running in your system. Often times it’s subtle. Which is why presence and connection is such a big part of the work. Together, we slow down and see what wants to be seen.
