Parts Work in Compassionate Inquiry

Compassionate Inquiry Honoring, Compassionate Inquiry Mentoring and Akashic Records with Leigh Aschoff

Throughout my years of experiential study, healing and certifications in Compassionate Inquiry, I have come to really love parts work (rooted in Internal Family Systems / thank you Richard Schwartz). Many of us attempt to "give up parts of ourselves" yet that is not really possible. Being curious about different parts of ourselves that emerge in certain relational contexts is so profound and powerful! I have come to really love this part of my own healing journey and definitely enjoy being curious about parts in Compassionate Inquiry Sessions when working with clients.

I have long been a skeptic of the word "part" since it suggests a separateness or a disconnection of wholeness (healing = wholeness). Over time, and with great dialogues with Gabor Maté and other colleagues, I have come to see that the word part supports us in exploring the process that is emerging within us. This exploration is the pathway to a deeper relationship with our present moment experience. This leads to self-awareness, access to pausing and discovery of choices otherwise veiled. It often leads to a heart body centered embrace of all our parts and processes. This is compassion led and felt in heart body by and with our Essence and True Self.

The healing journey is profoundly creative and generative. It is a different world when we lead ourselves from Essence and True Self.

If you are curious about learning more about somatic healing and how to align with your Essence and True Self, especially during moments of challenge and suffering, reach out to me about Compassionate Inquiry Sessions. I have a few spaces available for new and returning clients.

Honoring us all in this grande unfolding of being alive and here together.

May all beings experience heart peace, love and embodied belonging.

Aloha
